History
Paragraf Co began its work on procesing legal data for the use of various legal entities (companies) as well as individuals in 1996 when the first edition of Privrednik magazine was published. Through approxiately 100 pages news about latest developments in our legal system with the special regard to their practical application were made available to the public.

Areas of particular importance were covered in detail through/with the additionl manuals (pamphlets) whose authors were eminent experts (professionals) from different legal and economic fields such as:
- property/ownership transformation of legal entities (“Practicum/Manual for the owership transforation with the model documents” and “Collection of regulations regarding capital value (evaluation of capital value/ capital value estimations), ownership transformation and court registration/ registration at the Court Registry, Statute on legal entities/ Company law statute through questions and answers “Collection of regulations regarding classification of activities/industries/economic activities (Regulations regarding classification of economic activities digest)
- taxes, finances and accounting (“Manual for practical application of the new account framework/ chart of accounts for companies and other legal entities”, “Theory and analysis of bilans”, “Collection of tax, fees and indemnification regulations”, “Manual for the application of Tax Statute/law”, “ Interest rates and revaluation/revalorization manual” etc.
The company, which was then called Novi Privrednik, also engaged in/ contained/provided professional advising on the subject of/in the area of ownership transformation in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Vrnjacka Banja and all relevant legal entities were given the oportunity to present/introduce themselves in the publication/edition “ European information stock/exchange” whose readers were able to learn about/get familiarized with/find out domestic and foreign companies, both in english and in serbian language.
The legal software project itself stemed from/derived from the idea to make the regulations from different legal fields/areas more easily and practically available to consumers. This was previously done in the form of pamflet to the Privrednih magazine.

This consequently lead to the creation of electronic legal database Paragraf Net in 2001 and establishment of the founding principles on which Paragraf Co based and is still basing its work ethics. These principles include completeness/thoroughness, content based coherencey/relationships (so called relations) and daily updates which allows/enables legal certainy/security in the business of our clients. In line with/ in accordance with the trend of digitalization of data, magazine Privrednik (wich in the meantime changed its name into “Paragraf Press” as a result of Paragraf Co changing its name), was added in 2006 to the legal database in the form of electronic magazine/journal. Paragraf Press now publishes legal and economic news, expert opinions/comments and answers to our clients’ questions/to the questions of our client on daily basis instead of the earlier fortnight (as it was previously done).
The trend of continuous development and improvement continues
At the end of 2007/in late 2007 we introduced the newest/latest version of the electronic legal database to the market- with somewhat changed/updated visual identity/visual characteristics came the new content and new name: Paragraf LEX, necessary/indispensible tool for every legal, economic and other fields/professions experts. (for every legl, economic and other experts)
- This, however, did not end/finish the evolution/developmnt of Paragraf Lex.

- Having said this, PL continues to evolve. Its development is ongoing.
New ideas are being born/are born and most importantly they are being implemented. As a proof of this, in addition to a rich biography you are presently reading, stands the trust given to us for almost a decade by more than 12 thousand users.

Furthermore, as we are talking about development/ when spaking of development, at the end of this month (March 2010) and beginning of the next, it is our pleasure/we are pleased to announce two, that is/actually/ or/ or more precisely three novelties in the content of Paragraf LEX:
- calculators of default interest rates/penalty interest rates and litigation costs and
- official municipal publications/announcements/Gazete for Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis, Kikinda and Srem whose monitoring and publishing is beginning/ is starting
